Howick, KwaZulu-Natal

We take care of each other.

Londa Community Foundation walks alongside families in Howick and the surrounding Midlands, with learning for children, food for every table, care for our elders and skills for our youth.

About us

londa

isiZulu · verb · /ˈlɔ.nda/

To protect, to look after, to keep safe.

Our name is our promise to the people of Howick.

Londa Community Foundation is a non-profit organisation based on Hlanganani Road in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal. We exist to protect and uplift vulnerable children, young people, women and elders by meeting everyday needs and opening doors to a better future.

  • Ubuntu first

We believe a person is a person through other people. Every programme is shaped with the community, not for it.

  • Close to home

We work right here in Howick, so help reaches households quickly and the people we serve are our neighbours.

  • Dignity always

Support is offered with respect. We build on the strengths, skills and hopes that families already carry.
